海軍金江軍艦昨自左營軍港水星碼頭誤射飛彈，當時在左營基地的海軍官兵說，不少人在辦公室都聽到飛彈發射的響聲。雖然平時也常有空軍軍機飛過的聲音，會傳出巨響，但那一聲響，幾乎大多數官兵都覺得不對勁，個個面面相覷。
左營軍港不少官兵及操演測考官都目睹飛彈誤射，連住在軍港附近許多民眾也看到，後來得知擊中海上作業漁船，還打死人，直呼太離譜。
誤射飛彈事件後，軍中已流傳若不是太混，就是「陰謀論」，質疑海軍對外宣稱當時正在實施甲級操演，其實是要「傷害控管，棄車保帥」。有資深軍官直問「甲操動員一堆軍官，也要提早準備，會一大清早就在港內甲操，鬼才相信！」
一名錦江級資深軍官指出，戰艦甲級操演，除艦隊指揮部負責督導軍官、裁判官，還隨時上報進度，飛彈真的因操作程序誤射，艦上督導操演的軍官都要負責，但若非因演習失誤，就是軍方平時就疏於管控，才出現「該由艦長保管的火線安全接頭」，何以會一直插在線上，造成待發射狀態？
